Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters met personally to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Former two time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers met for the traditional face-off, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really going ahead.
